Chicken Salad

This is the chicken salad my mom makes. I LOVE it. I shared a picture of it here, over the summer, along with some other summer salads she made.

No clue where she got the recipe. There is a good chance she made it up. She is good like that :)

Ingredients:
5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup sour cream ( I like 1/2  of it to be miracle whip)
1 cup yogurt, plain
1/2 cup red onion, chopped fine
1-2 cups red or green seedless grapes, cut into small pieces
1 1/2 t salt
1 t pepper
1 1/2 t garlic salt
2 T Taragon
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Directions:
Boil chicken until fully cooked the shred/chop into thin, small pieces.
Mix all ingredients together and chill!

Enjoy!

  4. This looks wonderful. I usually steer clear of chicken salad because I HATE mayonnaise. This is right up my alley with the sour cream and yogurt. I definitely want to try this!
